Finally landed a job and starting work next Mon...

Hmmm.. This new job is actually not what I was looking for.. It's like they requested for my resume on some jobs website and then called me for interview..

During the first interview, they said, "So, you applied for this job...."

I was like -__-"""

I didn't really apply for the job.. But heck lah..

Went through the interviews and finally being offered a supervisory job.. Those do nothing one and ask ka kia to work only.. Hahaha...

Well... Don't know why in life, when you want something, you don't get it.. But when you don't want that thing, it keeps throwing itself at you...

So be it then...

Starting work after a month's rest... Feeling slack... Haha...

Frustrations of Job Search (Perceptions)

Yea.. Due to bad economy situations, I'm shaking my leg at home now while searching for a new job...

Feeling like a hamburger now due to the following (own perception):

"We just wanted a diploma holder but you are holding a degree. Qualifications does not match..."

"Oh. we are not looking for distance learning degrees. We only want local graduates..."

From my job search, I realised that one particular recruitment agency only look for local grads and does not bother to reply to me at all even though I've sent in a million resumes... Thus I've come to the perception that most recruitment agencies do not bother themselves with people like me and focuses only on local grads..

It's not a wonder too since it's easier for them to help local grads get jobs and they can gain more commissions this way.. Therefore, why would anyone (recruitment agencies) wanna help me look for job? Damn realistic...

For now, giving up on recruitment agencies...

Yea yea... I am complaining now... Too bad I wasn't hardworking in the past...

Therefore, in this country, I've developed the perception that it does not matter how good and capable you are (unless you are in top management like CEO, CFO etc..), it's the certificates you hold..

People like me are never given a real chance at a good company or a good position...

No matter where I was, I've always out-performed fellow colleagues and bosses recognize that and I've been greatly valued.. It's not from my own mouth, but it's derived from feedbacks that I got...

However, it's just damn difficult for me to even get a job as an essential personnel... Just because of my lousy educational background...

It's damn de-motivating... I should just get a lousy job and rot my life away and pass my knowledge to my future generation (if any) and hope they have better prospects than me..

Guess that the knowledge and experience I've gained through the years of constantly pursuing knowledge will go down the drain and everything will be in vain...

Or is heaven forcing me to start a business??? Haha....

Before things comes to an end, let me re-cap a bit...

1) Changed job in late Feb

Yea.. Changed to something that I thought I desired...

Hmm.. Been on this job for almost 10 months already... One of the longest job that I've ever held.. -__-""""

Well, made some fast and close friends in the new company and met up often too for dinners and special occasions like birthdays...

Not bad...

2) Made some enemies in the workplace...

Yea.. The freaking Ugly, Fat and Old (UFO) woman who looks like Jabba the Hut from Starwars... She's good at pissing off everyone who works with her... I wonder how she's surviving as a human.. Haha..

Basically, I still hate local fresh grads.. Those who think they know it all and is not humble.. Yea.. In came a new one and within a few weeks, managed to pissed a lot of people off, including me... Dunno how long she's able to survive here..

3) Created Characters in the company

(Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe... )

The Lion - The one who roars in laughter and yet, no one dares to say anything.. Woman of power...

The Witch - Someone who's laughter so sharp and loud.. And basically is thin like a witch and is extremely irritating till I feel like buring her on a stake

The Wardrobe - Full of different dresses.. Critisized her a few times and kena whacked by her door.. Cham-ness...

The Hello Kitty - The wannabe who's totally the opposite of Hello Kitty.. When has anyone seen Hello Kitty laughed loudly? Does Hello Kitty even have a mouth??? Helloooooooooooooo.........

The Courtesy Lion - The wannabe who's not very courteous, uses a lot of vulgar language, and smokes more and more each day, courtesy of *ahem... Wahahaha....

4) Established as an intelligent LAB in the company...

LAB = Lao Ah Beng... -__-""" Yea.. All thanks to someone who spread my fame...

As for intelligent, my admin was going through the CV one day and read mine... Then she skyped me and said, "Now I know you are not just an Ah Beng, but an intelligent Ah Beng.." -__-"""

Yea.. Gotten myself a partner after so many years...

Was choosing between 2... Since this one is considered to be a nice gal and we have common interests and similar family background, so why not give it a try?

Been together since July 12... 1207... Not bad number for 4D permutations.. Wahahaha...

And please don't ask me when I'm getting married... Haha..

6) Found "The One" phone for me..

Yea.. The iPhone... Though it has many restrictions and constraints, I love it a lot... It's just damn freaking nice loh... Wahahaha...

No Specific Topic

Ok.. It's a lame title.. But what's new? Hahaha...

Been busy over last weekend and till yesterday trying to meet deadlines....

Now.. It's waiting time before I get busy again..

Yea yea.. Sounds like NS life.. Haha...

Last night had a nightmare... Dreamt that I was ignoring my ex-gf and she went to hold another guy's hand.. And I shouted.. Think it was out of frustration... Haha..

But the heart-wrenching thing is, after a few minutes, a plastic chair dropped on my camera which was affixed on the tripod and it toppled over...

*Ouch...

Tested it and think it's still workable.. Except for the Image Stabiliser and the focusing that's having a little problem..

Sadness...

Had lunch with Cheryl today with intern... Yea.. The gal who doesn't know how to spell banana in the past and spelt as bananananananananana... Don't even know how many "na-s"

Haha...

Yea.. Today she eat a papayayayayayaya after lunch... Oops.. It's papaya... Haha.. And talking with her mouth full with papaya stuck in her braces and not concentrating till the papaya dropped on the table..

She let out a high-pitched soft whining... (Try to imagine that yourself ok?)

The intern and I laughed at the "sound effect".. Haha..

Updates...

Yea yea... Been real busy to do any updates...

Last week was like mad... Met up 2 groups of ex-colleagues.. One from my last job and one from my current company...

Really enjoyed both the sessions on Fri and Saturday night.. Except for the stupid movie.. Also slept... Haha..

Thursday night.. After my RT session, got a missed call from a friend.. Initially wanted to have diiner with me, but my RT ended at 8pm and she already got her colleague to pack for her..

Ended up having some coffee with her.. Don't know where I got the motivation from after my RT.. Rushed home bath, ate dinner, dressed up and rushed to meet her...

Office... Had two new colleagues joining in.. One is a China gal, the other is Singaporean...

The China gal is quite nice...

But.. The Singaporean gal is crapz... The typical local fresh grad I love to hate..

And her laughter is super irritating.. Like a witch's laugh.. Loud and sharp...

Yea.. And she pissed me off also.. Not just me, but some colleagues in another department...

Had lunch in a group yesterday.. They were going to a workshop and was talking about not dressing skimply..

The witch then said that's why she wore a jacket.. I was like.. -__-"""

She got absolutely nothing to see loh.. So what's there to hide??? So flat that planes can land and take off easily loh...

Then she started on complaining the hawkers are so fierce etc and she's a customer and demands to be treated better...

Please.. With her attitude, if I'm hawker, I will not serve her as well loh... She'll be lucky if I sell her anything at all...

Yea.. Don't have good impression of her at all...

And yea.. Told her directly she should practise tact... Then we never talked to each other anymore.. Wahahaha...

Yesterday had frog porridge for dinner... While on the way back, I was told that I have some Leo in me... Means I'm a mix of Leo and Virgo...

Finally... After being chased...

Finally, a day of slackness...

Other than being super busy at work, life's pretty boring for me actually..

Nothing much, nothing new... *Yawnz...

Yea yea.. Making all the noises at my workplace keyboard now cause finally free and now acting like busy doing work..

New pet phrase for these past few months: "Heck lah!~!" Hahha.. New template to add on to my existing ones...

Yea.. At my workplace, there's like a million templates to refer to and utilise..

And don't know when my colleague and I started to notice that we have our "templates" when we talk..

The words we use, actions, etc etc..

Maybe it's those "templates" in the lives of people that makes predicting and the study of psychology possible? Even though it's not 100% accurate...

Recently the stupid destruction of the JTC buildings near my place really causing me problem.. Leg itch like mad.. Now, my legs are rich.. Filled with "Ngor Jiam, Jik Ka".. (5 cents and 10 cents)... Wahaha...

And the stupid EC construction work going on.. Shit man.. My skin is just sensitive to dust.. Freako.. And the mosquitos..

A few months ago, I've gained a few kilos of weight... But I realised that I lost energy.. Didn't have energy to do things nor to crap and talk..

These past two weeks, I managed to reduce back to my original weight and realised that I have more energy compare to the time that I gained weight..

So, I've decided.. I'll stay at this weight. Heck care ar!~! Wahahaha...

Sianz.. going to RT soon.. Forced to exercise soon.. And immediately after that, reservist for around 2 weeks plus.. Out to sea again...

Stupid people say we go out to sea to catch Sotongs and then bang the Sotongs... How I wish got so good life loh.. Though I might feel like catching Sotongs, I will rather BBQ and eat them then to bang them... That's pure.. Ummm.. SM???

Oh yar.. iPhone.. The best mobile I ever had.. OS is stable, response fast.. Though some functions are limited, but it's stable and good...

Hmm.. How good it will be if relationships are like the iPhone..

Stability.. Powerful OS (foundation)... And can add on other utilities and games and other functions to add fun to life.. Then life in a relationship will not be so boring...

Maybe I should just date my iPhone.. Wahaha..
